Hirst's anatomical sculpture 'Virgin (Exposed)' (2005) features in a large group-exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art's modern and contemporary art space, The Met Breuer.

The exhibition, which contains around 120 works, examines seven hundred years of sculptural practice; from fourteenth-century Europe to the global present. Focusing on sculpture in which artists have sought to replicate the living body, Hirst's 'Virgin (exposed)' will be displayed alongside figurative works by artists including El Greco, Auguste Rodin, Louise Bourgeois and Duane Hanson.
