Odyssey at St Edmund in the City is the second venue on the exhibitions journey, first showing at Bath Abbey in May 2013. The selected works, often in monochrome, play to the notions of the light of life and the darkness of death. Works on display Hirst's bronze sculpture ‘Saint Bartholomew, Exquisite Pain’ (2010) which acts as a reminder that the strict demarcation between art, religion and science is a relatively recent development.

Other featured artists are: Beth Carter, Kathy Dalwood, Tessa Farmer, Patrick Haines, Rebecca Louise Law and Koji Shiraya.
